Located on the Algarve''s western coast between Portimao and Lagos, lies the pretty picturesque fishing village of Alvor, once the Algarve''s capital, where you will find a wide variety of bars, restaurants and an abundance of evening entertainment and Alto Golf and Country Club. The resort is situated within 18 acres of sub-tropical, landscaped gardens just a short walk from the golden sandy beach with a wealth of on-site facilities for guests to enjoy. A short distance from the resort is an 18 hole, par 72 Golf Club which was designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton and provides low handicap players with a testing game yet plenty of enjoyment for players at average club level.
