Fattoria di Catignano

Описание

In history books about Siena, a small borough is mentioned under the name of "Clatinianum". The place witnessed many events that forged the destiny of the city, and was laid waste by a band of Spaniards in 1554.

Today, The Fattoria di Catignano welcomes guests looking for a cosy rustic-style accommodation in Tuscany. What was once a real farmhouse, also devoted to the production of fine wine & olive oil, is now a farm accommodation, carefully restored by respecting all the ancient, original features. The Farmhouse is situated just 8 km north east of Siena, in the Chianti area.

Its location atop a beautiful cypress shaded hill provides extraordinary views of Siena and the Tuscan countryside. The private Tuscan Farmhouse is in close proximity to the most popular cities and towns in the area- San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Florence, and Arezzo. Featuring an outdoor pool and a garden with BBQ facilities, Fattoria di Catignano offers accommodation in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the Chianti Region. Guests can enjoy free WiFi throughout and parking on site.

All apartments at the Fattoria di Catignano have wood-beamed ceilings and rustic-style furniture. A fully equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom are also available.

Siena is a 25-minute drive from the property, while Castellina in Chianti is 20 km away. Please inform Fattoria di Catignano in advance of your expected arrival time.
