Coolanowle Country House

Описание

Coolanowle Self Catering cottages were coverted from farm buildings in 2008. These historic cottages used to be used as cow byres throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries. Converted to cottage style with a home away from home feel. Situated beside Coolanowle Country House and organic farm, Coolanowle Self Catering Holiday Accommodation offers charming cottages and chalets set in 3 acres of woodland. They have a rural setting 12 km from Carlow.

Accommodation at Coolanowle Self Catering has an open-plan living room and kitchen, and opens onto a communal lawn with picnic tables. Cottages have underfloor heating and 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, while the chalet has 2 bedrooms and a shower room.

Guests can enjoy an organic breakfast in the main house. This is subject to a surcharge.

The property is only 10 minutes’ drive from Carlow and Athy. Kildare, Portlaoise and Kilkenny are all within 40 minutes’ drive.

Nearby attractions include Dunamase Castle and Stradbally Hall, as well as the National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Three golf clubs can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
