Great budget accommodation for couples and families offering self-catering facilities set amidst lush typically Mediterranean gardens just a short distance from the beach in the delightful town of Plomari. Nestling on the coastline, the second largest town on the sun-soaked island of Lesvos is just 46 km from Mytilini International Airport. Known as the ‘Ouzo capital of the world', Plomari boasts an ouzo museum where visitors can learn about the drink, as well as various distilleries where they can see how it is made and sample the various brands. There is also an annual ouzo festival, which takes place in mid-July. This cool and compact accommodation option is the perfect base from which to spend time relaxing on the beach or sightseeing and taking in the spectacular scenery, before returning to enjoy a relaxing early evening drink on the terrace.
