In the village of Nether Stowey, The Old Cider House lies at the foot of the Quantock Hills, England’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a secluded garden and free parking, this Somerset guest house serves high-quality home-cooked food and brews beer in its own microbrewery.

Each guest room has a flat-screen TV, minibar and tea and coffee facilities including a coffee machine. All have an en suite shower with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Wi-Fi access is also available.

An award-winning breakfast is served each morning, including local butcher’s sausages and bacon, and eggs from the Old Cider House hens. There is also homemade bread, jam and marmalade.

A range of traditional English or international evening meals feature local ingredients and can be booked in advance. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine or real ale over dinner or by the log fire in the lounge.
