The Lion Hotel

Описание

In the Cambridgeshire village of Buckden, this Inn dates back to 1492 and is full of original features. The bar and restaurant have open fires, wooden beams and seasonal food.

The Lion’s bright, airy rooms each have a TV and free tea and coffee facilities. All rooms also have traditional décor, and a private bathroom.

Henry VIII imprisoned his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, 10 minutes’ walk away in 12th-century Buckden Towers. Grafham Water has trout fishing and water sports, 3 miles away.

The Lion’s restaurant offers seasonal menus, using meat sourced from a local butcher. Traditional afternoon tea and a selection of wines are also available. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Please note that pets are only allowed in some of the room types. Please inform the property about pets via the Special Requests box during reservation. Without prior agreement the hotel may not be able to accommodate guest traveling with pets.
