The Halcyon

Описание

Ideally located within the gateway to the city, this city hotel is just around the corner from all the must-see sights, including the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Pultney Bridge and the Thermae Bath Spa. A five-minute walk will take guests to the Circus and the Royal Crescent. As the Bath Spa train station is just a hop, skip and jump away, there really is no need for a taxi. The whole town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a living museum of honey-stone terraces, architectural gems and leafy squares. Nearby airports include Bristol (33 km away), Southampton (107 km away), Exeter (159 km away) and London Heathrow (161 km away).

This stunning Grade I-listed Georgian boutique townhouse in a to-die-for location offers tip-top technology, luxury products, organic breakfasts, a cosy bed and oh-so-soft pillows. What guests won't find is a costly-to-run restaurant, empty ballrooms or nasty hidden costs. Renovated in 2010, the city hotel offers 21 guest rooms and facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a bar, breakfast room and bicycle hire service (fees apply).

Each room features a gorgeous 1700 pocket-sprung double bed, sumptuous soft fabrics, crisp yet cosy sheets, fluffy pillows and a plasma TV. Individually crafted by the award-winning interior designer, all eight standard rooms include a walk-in shower, decked out with Philippe Starck and Hansgrohe fittings and White Company products. A hairdryer, direct dial telephone, ironing set and tea and coffee making facilities also feature in all rooms as standard.

A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning.
