The property is located within the Kosciusko National Park and is a 30 minute drive from Jindabyne, approximately 2 1/2 hours drive from Canberra or the South Coast and 5 1/2 drive from Sydney. Parking is limited at the Black Bear Inn to 2 spaces and is based on a first in. Plenty of free parking is available within the village and during the winter months there is a free shuttle bus that runs to and from all overnight parking and skiing areas, with the bus stop just 10 metres from the front door.
